As the Chief Architect – Manager Enterprise Architecture, you will be a part of our crucial Enterprise Architecture team. This team defines and oversees the Enterprise Architecture strategy, standards, and governance across the entire PostNord group organization. You will ensure IT solutions align with business goals and support PostNord's transformation into a digital and data-driven business, positioning the company as a leader in the industry.

PostNord connects companies, authorities, and individuals through its unique network, facilitating business, trade, and communication across the Nordic region. In 2023, PostNord delivered 245 million parcels and 1.1 billion letters and other mail items. Formed by the merger of Post Danmark A/S and Posten AB in 2009, PostNord operates mainly in the Nordic region and is 40% owned by the Danish state and 60% by the Swedish state, with voting rights equally distributed. The group headquarters is in Solna, Sweden.

After the merger, PostNord expanded into heavier logistics by acquiring companies in Norway and Denmark, making it the largest parcel company in the Nordic region. PostNord's Group IT unit, and specifically the Enterprise Architecture team, are central to strategy execution. The Enterprise Architecture team defines and oversees the Enterprise Architecture strategy, standards, and governance across the PostNord group organization, excluding subsidiaries. This team ensures IT solutions align with business goals and support PostNord's transformation into a digital and data-driven business, positioning the company as a leader in the industry.

The Chief Architect will drive PostNord's business through effective Enterprise Architecture oversight. This involves defining and supervising the Enterprise Architecture strategy, standards, and governance processes across the entire PostNord group organization. The objective is to ensure that IT solutions align with business objectives and achieve strategic aims, propelling PostNord towards a unified Nordic IT landscape. Acting as the central hub, the Chief Architect will collaborate with various business and IT stakeholders, harnessing emerging technologies and best practices to enhance innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities will include directly overseeing the Enterprise Architecture team, guiding them in aligning IT solutions with business goals and executing strategic initiatives.

• Define and oversee Enterprise Architecture strategy and standards across PostNord Group
• Lead a team of architects to align IT solutions with business goals
• Maintain the Enterprise Architecture vision, principles, and frameworks
• Drive the architecture towards a unified Nordic IT landscape
• Establish governance processes and standards for IT solution quality
• Promote the benefits of Enterprise Architecture to stakeholders
• Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices for feasibility
• Foster a culture of trust and continuous improvement within the team
• Handle hiring, onboarding, salary, budget, and reporting

• Solid experience in IT architecture, design, and development
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex and large-scale IT solutions.
• Broad experience and knowledge in multiple IT domains
• Understanding of both legacy systems and new digital concepts
• Experience in corporations with outsourced environments
• At least 5 years of experience in an Enterprise Architecture role
• International experience in the Nordic region

Meritorious experience: (Nice-to-have)

• Experience with security and regulatory environments
• Experience from the business side
• Expertise in various IT methodologies, frameworks, and standards
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Language requirement:
Fluent English in speech and writing. Proficiency in at least one Scandinavian language is meritorious
