About the Role

As a Client Service Director at Carat, you will lead major customer projects, manage one of our excellent customer teams, act as a lead in significant pitches, and be responsible for a team of customer responsible project managers. You play a pivotal role in both our agency's journey and our customers where you are crucial in driving our customers' business forward with unique commitment and curiosity.

The role focuses on customer development, where you are ultimately responsible for budgeting, contract processes, profitability, and needs of your customer team. You participate in developing business growth plans for customer relations, ensure high quality throughout the customer journey, and enhance customer relationships based on insights-driven strategies linked to media along with project managers and strategists. You are solution-oriented and willingly share your experience to educate and develop others.

A significant part of the responsibility is to be a driving force in continuing Carat's growth journey by acquiring new customers actively and developing our existing customers by leveraging what all of Dentsu has to offer for ensuring our customers' growth. You are part of Carat's management team, establishing strong relationships with existing and new customers and media partners, and are motivated to create magic for our customers with colleagues across Dentsu and our various specialist teams.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with a solid background in media agencies and the media industry with the following qualifications:

  • Passion for sales and fostering customer growth
  • Experience in leading and developing growth for major customer projects - both Swedish and multi-market customers
  • Understanding and experience in building a long-term profitable and sustainable partnership
  • Experienced pitch leader who understands the importance of leadership as well as details
  • Broad insight into the entire media landscape and media's impact on growth
  • Strong business acumen and can contribute with both analytical and strategic insights
  • Interest in innovation, digital development, and trends in the media and marketing industry
  • Experience in leading and developing teams and having personnel responsibility

As a person, you have a keen interest in the communication industry, which, along with your business drive, allows you to bring new insights and improvement opportunities for both our customers and Dentsu. The role requires not only experience in leading pitch work but also coaching others in it. You have a strong analytical ability and can identify customer needs and transform them into strategies and processes. You are a leader - who inspires colleagues at Carat and Dentsu - where the driving force is growth.

You enjoy working with both numbers and words, express yourself well verbally and in writing, and are a skilled presenter in both English and Swedish.
