Your timing is perfect as you’ll be joining us when we’re just about to launch our newly established Loyalty currency and company, LoyaltyCo together with Norwegian Air Shuttle. We are changing the face of loyalty in the Nordics by connecting loyalty programs through a universal loyalty currency, enabling members to access great rewards faster than ever before.

You'll dive into an exciting role where you'll lead a core function, orchestrating the transformation of our experiences. What you will be doing:

In this role, you will be the architect of our events and experiences strategy, ensuring it aligns with our overarching business goals. You'll oversee the creation and management of a robust experience/event calendar and corresponding budgets, aiming to deliver memorable experiences that engage our customers, members, hotels, and partners. You will run a cross-functional team dedicated to supporting, marketing, and driving the commercial success of our experience initiatives.

Your responsibilities will also include managing relationships and performance with our contracted experience partners, ensuring Strawberry remains ahead of industry trends and best practices. You will define and execute Strawberry events, fostering a community of experience seekers. Training and managing your team to provide top-tier support in event planning and execution will be key, as will overseeing budgets and the economic impact of departmental activities.

Who we are looking for:
  • Proven experience as an event or partner manager, or a similar role within the experience landscape.
  • A person with a knack for marketing, storytelling, and concept development, knowing what it takes to create and deliver experiences that truly engage our customers and create long-lasting relationships with our members
  • Your leadership skills and experience will be instrumental in rallying a high-performing cross-functional team, inspiring them to push boundaries and set new benchmarks for success.
  • Expertise in managing and tracking budgets, preparing sound business cases, and securing buy-in.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and working cross-functionally to deliver results.

To be successful in this role, you should have outstanding organizational and relationship-building skills, with experience across various companies and industries. You excel in being creative to create memorable experiences, maximizing return on investment, and fostering long-term relationships with our members. An analytical and commercially-oriented mindset, coupled with a “can do” attitude, is essential.

You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a creative, cross-functional, and execution-based team. Your implementation skills must be top-notch, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt to change. A team player at heart, you know how to build, motivate, and engage team members and can effectively translate strategy into actionable tactics.

Details: 

You will lead a fantastic team, be part of the Leadership Team for Loyalty, and report to the VP Loyalty. You will travel frequently between our main offices in Stockholm and Oslo. We offer a hybrid workplace and for this position, your base can be in Oslo or Stockholm.
