Director of Sales Nordics (m/f/d)

located in Scandinavia (FULL TIME)

About AVIAREPS:

AVIAREPS is a global leader in Tourism and Aviation marketing, and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join us as the Director of Sales for the Nordic Region. This pivotal role will be crucial in overseeing and strategically guiding our aviation teams to further success. The introduction of the Director of Sales position is a direct response to the remarkable growth we have experienced in Scandinavia over the past 18 months. Having been awarded GM of the Year in Addis last May, AVIAREPS has strategically expanded its presence and established valuable partnerships.

Are you a motivated leader with a clear passion for aviation sales? AVIAREPS seeks an ambitious and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our Sales initiatives in Scandinavia. This is a newly created position that will coordinate and align sales activities in the Nordic countries, which include Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Strategy:

Provide strategic leadership to the aviation teams, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals. Develop and execute strategies to capitalize on the rapid growth of the Nordic region's aviation sector.

2. Team Management:

Oversee daily operations of aviation teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Conduct regular performance assessments, provide feedback, and implement development plans for team members.

3. Client Relationship Management:

Build and nurture strong relationships with airline partners, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure new partnerships and maintain existing ones.

4. Market Expansion:

Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion within the Nordic region. Evaluate potential partnerships and collaborations to enhance AVIAREPS' presence in the aviation industry.

5. Performance Analysis:

Analyze performance metrics, reports, and client feedback to identify areas for improvement. Implement data-driven strategies to optimize team efficiency and achieve key performance indicators.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to achieving organizational objectives. Represent AVIAREPS in industry events and conferences to strengthen our position in the Nordic aviation market. Qualifications: Proven track record in a leadership role within the aviation industry. In-depth knowledge of the Nordic region's aviation market trends, regulations, and dynamics. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to make informed decisions to drive success. Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, or Finnish).

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in aviation, with a focus on leadership and strategic management.
