Would you like to develop the finance function in Nordea Finance Equipment and help us deliver on our ambitious financial targets? We are now looking for a Accountant to strengthen our team in Sweden during a maternity leave. You will be a part of a team of eight reporting to our CFO.

About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Accounting team in Nordea Finance Equipment belonging to Financial Reporting and Control (FRC). Nordea Finance Equipment is part of Nordea Finance which operates in the Nordics and has four business lines all working with a Nordic approach. We add value to the group by our product offerings (investment credits, working capital and consumer credits) that we sell via the bank channel and via our sales finance partners.

 

You’ll join a great team of dedicated professionals working together for the full Nordea Finance. As a accountant in the accounting team you play a key role in our finance processes.
 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and perform accounting transactions
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts – both bank and G/L
  • Perform financial reporting – both internal and external
  • Process payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Participate in projects to develop and improve the financial infrastructure such as SAP implementation
  • Support the development of colleagues to promote teamwork and contribute to knowledge sharing
  • Support NFS CFO when needed


The role is based in Stockholm. This is a temporary position until June 2025.

Your experience and background:

  • Several years of experience from accounting and financial reporting
  • Professional level skills in Excel and using general ledgers
  • Experience from working in projects related to finance processes
  • Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
  • Knowledge from financial structures and tools used in Nordea is a merit
