Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the hub of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. Our focus is on delivering returns with responsibility, meeting customer needs, guiding them towards appropriate asset selection, and ensuring sound ESG practices. NAM has over 900 employees catering to about 500 Nordic and international institutional clients.
About this opportunity
Welcome to the Private Markets investment team at Nordea Asset Management. The team oversees a rapidly growing portfolio of funds and mandates in private equity, private credit, unlisted real assets, and natural capital for Nordea Bank and external institutional clients. As a dedicated Investment Associate, you will play a significant role in providing top-notch returns to our investors by executing and monitoring primary investments sourced from our extensive global private markets network.
In this role, you will:
- Engage in all phases of the investment cycle for primary investments, including sourcing and screening new opportunities, developing investment theses, conducting due diligence and financial analysis, and monitoring performance of executed investments
- Prepare materials for decision making on new primary investments
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support investment announcements and reporting
- Work with the broader private markets investment team on specific occasions

- 2-4 years of relevant experience in a private market investment team, investment banking, or similar field
- Prior experience in primary investments is a bonus
