About this opportunity

Welcome to the Derivatives Coverage Sales team. We are part of the FX/Derivatives Sales and Research organisation within Nordea Markets. We offer corporate customers advice on how to manage currency & interest rate related risks. The advice is based on in-depth customer understanding, market research, product knowledge, laws and regulations in order to build long lasting relations.

In the Derivatives team you will play a valuable role in nurturing our close relationships with corporate customers and stakeholders. You will get a motivating and unique opportunity to build a robust capital markets and financial profile.

In this role, you will therefore quickly be given the responsibility to work with clients and across the full spectrum of our derivatives solutions. Eventually you will grow into your role as the "derivatives know how person" clients and other colleagues in the bank go to for advice.
As a unit, we value great team work as much as you can work independently, being proactive and have a creative mindset to contribute with new ideas to serve our clients at our best

What you'll be doing:

  • Support colleagues with sales pitches/presentations, pricing and trade ideas towards our customers
  • Develop yours skills in advising our corporate clients on interest rate hedging (i.e. swaps, caps, loan-products) and acquisition of new clients
  • Generating ideas, conduct interest rate risk analysis and supporting the structuring of customer oriented solutions
  • Pricing and execution of interest rate hedging transactions with customers
  • Collaboration with other Internal Units and stake holders within the customer team

You`ll join the Swedish Derivatives Coverage Sales team where ownership and collaboration are the corner stones in what we do in order to consistently excel clients expectations. The role is based in Stockholm.
