About this opportunity

Join our Workplace Management team in Sweden and contribute by creating exceptional workplace experiences for our colleagues and customers. As a Senior Business Controller, you will be responsible for financial reporting, planning, and controlling for Sweden and Finland. Collaboration with teams in Denmark, Norway, Poland, and Estonia is vital. Your role is crucial in maintaining financial transparency and ensuring compliance.

What you will be doing:

  • Handle monthly and quarterly tasks related to income statements and balance sheets.
  • Provide actionable financial advice to management.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant financial data.
  • Oversee service agreements and financials with third-party vendors.
  • Collaborate with various bank departments on cost management.
  • Manage financial reporting with landlords and suppliers.
  • Update rental income and expenses regularly.
  • Proactively identify and address issues.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in Nordic projects enhancing financial governance.

Your experience and background:

  • Understand current accounting practices and controls.
  • Possess accounting expertise, ideally from a finance or real estate background.
  • Familiarity with IFRS16 is beneficial.
  • Communicate effectively in English and Swedish.
  • Hold a relevant university degree.

This position is based in Stockholm or Helsinki
