Would you like to be part of the largest asset manager in the Nordics? We are now looking for a Student to assist our Money Laundering Reporting Officers in advising and overseeing compliance with anti-money laundering and counter terrorism financing regulation across numerous jurisdictions.

 

About this opportunity

 

Welcome to the Anti-Money Laundering Team We are looking for the Student to join our team in Nordea Asset Management. Do you want to contribute to combating money laundering and terrorism financing? Do you want to be part of a AML/CFT competence centre in Asset Management? If yes, then this might be a position for you. We are looking for a student to work from our Stockholm office together with colleagues in the AML Function.

 

You will work closely with the Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLRO) and support them in their day to day work, ensuring our financial crime prevention framework.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist the MLROs in daily operations including follow-up and maintenance.
  • Assist in reporting, mapping processing activities, record keeping, updating action logs, risk registration, update templates and similar.
  • Research on AML/CFT related matters.
  • Assist in administration of the internal AML/KYC tool.

 

This is a student position with a minimum of 15 hours per week based in Stockholm.

Your experience and background:

  • You are currently studying at university or business school.
  • Preferably studies in law, finance, risk management, political science, statistics, information security or other relevant for the tasks.
  • You are experienced in Excel, SharePoint and able to easily acquire technical skills.
  • You feel comfortable collaborating with colleagues with different backgrounds – educational, technical and/or cultural.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
