We are looking for an experienced
Data Engineer
who can design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms for large and complex datasets. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and valuable for analytics, reporting, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate has strong skills in
SQL, Data Vault, data modeling
, and hands-on experience with modern cloud environments—preferably
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
. You will play a key role in building robust
ETL/ELT pipelines
, ensuring data quality, security, performance, and documentation standards.

Fluency in
Swedish
is required due to close collaboration with business users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain
    data platforms
    for large-scale data collection, storage, and processing
  • Design and implement
    data models
    (Data Vault + dimensional models)
  • Develop and optimize
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    to ensure data quality and availability
  • Ensure data
    quality, governance, and security
    across platforms
  • Develop documentation, best practices, and reusable components
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, architects, and source system teams
  • Translate business needs into structured technical solutions
  • Conduct performance tuning and pipeline optimizations
  • Leverage version control and CI/CD best practices

Required Competencies

Must-have:

  • Strong SQL expertise
  • Data Vault modeling
  • Dimensional data modeling
  • Experience with
    GCP and BigQuery (or similar cloud data warehouse)
  • Experience with
    Git/GitHub (or similar)
  • Fluent Swedish (spoken & written)

Nice-to-have / Desirable

  • Experience with
    dbt
  • Experience with
    Terraform or similar IaC tools
  • Experience with
    Looker
  • Python programming experience
