Sambla Group is a fintech company with a clear goal – to be your trusted financial partner. We need you, your ambition and your skills on our journey. We have become the fast-growing fintech company that we are today – bridging the gap between borrowers and lenders – thanks to all the 450+ amazing people who work here.
Our success is the result of the commitment to deliver the best customer journey and consumer finance products in the industry. Our vision is to democratize lending and empower customers to improve their personal finances. Through our well known brands such as Sambla, Advisa, Rahalaitos, Omalaina, Rahoitu and DigiFinans we support customers in consolidating and getting the best terms on their loans.
We are now looking for our next Product Designer.
As a Product Designer at Sambla Group, you'll play a key role in shaping the experience of our products - from first insight to launched solution and beyond.
You'll work closely with Product Managers, Local product leads, developers, and data analysts to understand problems, explore opportunities, and ensure that what we build truly benefits our customers.
The position entails a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Manage the end-to-end design process, from research and concept to final UI and implementation
- Responsible for identifying and understanding user needs and pain points through research and data
- Drive design iterations through testing, prototyping, and measuring impact on product outcomes
- Develop clear, accessible, and visually refined interfaces that align with our design principles
- Collaborate on product strategy and roadmap prioritization
- Work iteratively, testing ideas early, learning fast, and continuously improving based on insights and data
- Contribute to and evolve our design system
You're curious, analytical, and collaborative. You think about more than just final UI and user flows, you care about outcomes. You enjoy working autonomously, taking initiatives, and balancing speed with quality.
You enjoy experimenting, iterating fast, and learning from real user behavior.
This is a role for someone who wants to own the full journey.
From raw insights to shipped products and helping to shape how design drives value across Sambla Group.
4+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking. From problem framing to final UI
Good understanding of front-end principles and how design translates into code, enabling smooth collaboration and confident handoffs to development
Comfortable conducting user research and usability testing
Skilled in modern design tools (Figma, prototyping tools, etc.)
Strong understanding and knowledge of accessibility, design systems, and responsive design principles
Experience collaborating closely with product managers and dev teams in agile teams
Data-informed mindset - able to connect qualitative insights with quantitative outcomes
Excellent communication skills in English
Self-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
What we offer:
- Business in mind & people at heart – we deliver results together and celebrate our achievements.
- A varied and challenging role in a multinational and highly innovative company, where we value the development of our employees.
- We are strong believers in creating a fun workplace where people enjoy coming to work.
- A friendly culture with openness and respect for one another, with the possibility to influence and make a difference on society and people's everyday lives.
