About the team

You will be joining a collaborative and dynamic team dedicated to push the boundaries of our product's capabilities. Our team is made up of frontend- and backend developers, a product owner, and a Product Designer. Together, we strive to create seamless, user-friendly experiences that meet the needs of our diverse customer base.

As our new Product Designer, you will work closely with our current product designer, forming a creative duo that drives the aesthetic and functional design of our product. Collaboration is at the heart of our process; you will find a partner in ideation, critiquing, and evolving product design. Your role will not only be about making things look great but also ensuring they meet the high standards of usability and efficiency set by the team.

Our platform revolutionizes the last mile delivery process, designed to streamline operations and enhance the delivery experience for all parties involved.

The end customer experience is facilitated through both web-based platforms and mobile applications, offering real-time tracking of deliveries and ensuring transparency and trust between the customers and drivers. This dual-interface approach caters to diverse user preferences and enhances the overall delivery experience.

Furthermore, our dedicated driver app is tailored to meet the needs of our on-ground workforce, providing them with intuitive navigation, delivery details and communication tools, all designed to make their daily operations smoother and more efficient.

What You'll Do

As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating seamless and intuitive experiences for our customers and drivers, focusing on end-customer interfaces. You will work on all aspects of UX, from conducting user research and designing detailed workflows and interfaces to handover to our development team, and ensure a strong visual brand in close cooperation with the Marketing team. Your work will contribute directly to making Gordon's services more accessible, enjoyable and efficient.

Responsibilities
  • Design intuitive, user-friendly product interfaces for both mobile and web platforms.
  • Work closely with Marketing team and relevant stakeholders to bring your designs to life, ensuring a seamless transition from design to development.
  • Utilize a variety of design tools to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Analyze user feedback and activity, and iterate on designs to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Stay abreast of UI & UX trends and best practices to keep our designs cutting-edge and user-centric.
  • Conduct user research to gather insights into user needs and behaviors.
  • Develop and maintain design systems according to Gordon Brand guidelines that ensure consistency and high-quality user experiences across all digital platforms.
We  are looking for someone who has
  • At least 3 years of experience in Product Design, with a proven track record of successful projects and Art Direction.
  • Portfolio showcasing expertise across the entire UX spectrum of relevant past projects.
  • Extensive experience working with design systems, design tokens, Figma and prototyping tools
  • Exceptional skills in problem-solving, creative design thinking, and user-centered design principles.
  • Worked with, or, interest in leveraging AI to elevate the design process and design system tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to various stakeholders from teams such as product, operations, and engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Fine Arts in Design, or equivalent.
