About the company
Our client is a specialized niche bank embarking on a bold and transformative growth journey, fueled by strong institutional backing. With a clear strategic vision, the company is expanding its product portfolio and geographic footprint through a landmark acquisition — integrating valuable assets, leveraging advanced technology, and bringing on board a team of exceptional talent.
Positioned at the forefront of the European credit market, the company combines a strong heritage with an innovative mindset to build a best-in-class debt finance platform. Its mission is to enhance financial health, empower individuals, and create lasting value for financial institutions, investors, and communities alike.
With substantial capital resources, an ambitious growth agenda, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture, the company is uniquely placed to shape the future of the credit ecosystem. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking, permanent institution that is not only driving liquidity and resilience in the market but also contributing to greater stability and transparency across the European financial landscape.
If you are passionate about transformation, innovation, and building robust financial operations that leave a meaningful mark, this is your chance to be part of an exciting journey — one that promises both professional growth and the satisfaction of creating lasting impact.
The Position - Supplier Manager
We are looking for a Supplier Manager, who will lead and shape the company's supplier management function at a pivotal stage of our European growth. Your primary focus will be to design, own, and continuously improve the supplier onboarding and control processes, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and fully compliant with regulatory demands.
Your background from banking or debt collection equips you with the regulatory insight and relationship-building skills needed to succeed in a complex, fast-paced financial environment. You will be a key culture carrier—setting the standard for collaboration, trust, and high performance across the organization. As a senior advisor and natural sounding board, you will support management and colleagues with strategic input on supplier matters.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, building strong, trust-based relationships and ensuring supplier strategies are fully aligned with company objectives. While you will not be responsible for sourcing suppliers, you will own the processes for onboarding, monitoring, and offboarding, driving consistency and efficiency throughout the supplier lifecycle.
Continuous improvement is central to your role. You will proactively identify opportunities to enhance our supplier management framework, lead the implementation of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and ensure best practices in risk mitigation.
You will provide clear, actionable reporting to senior management and facilitate transparent communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders. In short, you are a senior, hands-on leader—an expert in supplier management, a true team player, and a role model for the company's culture and values.
The position is based in Stockholm.
Background and experience
- Academic background in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or Law)
- Experience from banking or debt collection is highly meritorious
- Proven track record in supplier, outsourcing, and partnership management, or third-party risk management in a regulated environment
- Experience from operations and project management
- Ability to work cross-functionally and to create structure in complex processes with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience designing and implementing standardized tools and processes for partner and supplier onboarding, evaluation, and monitoring
Personal characteristics
We are seeking a strong culture carrier and role model for company values and behaviors. As a senior, confident, and unpretentious professional, you are an experienced advisor and sounding board for management and colleagues. You are an excellent relationship builder with outstanding communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to create trust and effective partnerships throughout the organization. You are strategic, results-driven, and detail-oriented, always ensuring high quality in your work. With high integrity and strong ethical standards, you act with honesty and responsibility in all situations. Additionally, you are adaptable, resilient, and proactive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, always ready to meet new challenges and drive positive change.
We Offer
- A central, impactful leadership role in a fast-paced, international financial services environment.
- The opportunity to shape and develop outsourcing and supplier management strategies across multiple European markets.
- Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and colleagues in several countries, driving alignment and operational excellence.
- A modern workplace with engaged skilled professionals committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
