We're looking for a Chief Communication Officer to help put Ingrid Capacity on the map in Europe and beyond. The job is about building a clear, bold narrative around one of the fastest-growing energy tech companies on the continent — making sure investors, policymakers, partners, and top talent know who we are and why we matter.

The old energy system is broken — rigid, fossil-fueled, unfit for the future. Ingrid Capacity exists to build what comes next. We design and operate the intelligent grid: large-scale energy storage, real-time software, and analytics that keep society's electrification in flow.

Today, we're leading a historic build-out of energy storage in Sweden and scaling across Europe. Over 500 MW is already deployed. Our development pipeline is above 4 GW. And we're only getting started.

About the role

As Chief Communication Officer, you'll be an integral part of our management team — shaping strategy, guiding our narrative, and ensuring communications is central to every key decision. You'll drive PR, craft sharp messages from big ideas, and help us build the brand of Europe's next energy-tech leader. You will: 

  • Set and drive Ingrid's communications strategy and brand, supporting our rapid expansion. 
  • Ensure our brand is consistently outstanding across all touchpoints. 
  • Lead external comms across PR, brand, web, public affairs, investor relations, and employer brand.
  • Run internal comms so our people stay aligned, fast, and engaged. 
  • Build and lead a high-performing comms team. 
  • Position our CEO and leadership team in media, policy and industry forums. 
  • Build relationships with journalists, policymakers, and stakeholders who shape the transition. 
  • Own our brand voice across every channel.
What you bring 
  • Senior experience leading comms in a fast-scaling, international company. 
  • A strong track record in corporate communications, branding, public affairs, and media relations.
  • Experience shaping strategies that drive growth, investor confidence, and stakeholder trust. 
  • Leadership skills with proven ability to build and grow a comms team. 
  • Political experience or strong exposure to policy-making environments. 
  • A relevant university degree. 
  • Fluency in English and Swedish.
