Haypp is seeking a visionary Head of Compensation & Benefits to architect a modern, equitable, and data-driven global rewards strategy from the ground up. This is a strategic and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building from the ground up, can operate at both conceptual and execution level, and is motivated by shaping a modern, equitable, and data-led compensation function. As the organization grows, this role will also build and lead a small specialist team.
SCOPE OF THE ROLE
Launch global job architecture and grading
Implement company-wide salary bands
Design STI and LTI programs for mid-sized, international scale
Standardize benefits across markets
Establish governance and operating rhythm
Deliver compensation analytics and decision-support tools
Build and lead a high-performing C&B team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Design: Lead global compensation and benefits strategy aligned with business goals and talent needs.
Program Execution: Build core reward infrastructure and manage annual compensation review cycles.
Governance & Compliance: Set global policies and ensure compliance with EU/US regulations and pay equity standards.
Systems & Data: Align HRIS and payroll systems, introduce analytics tools, and manage external vendors.
Leadership & Influence: Advise senior stakeholders, build internal C&B capabilities, and grow a specialist team.
MUST HAVE
10+ years in Compensation & Benefits with global/multi-country scope
Proven success designing and implementing reward frameworks, incentive plans, and benefits strategies
Experience building C&B infrastructure in scaling environments (not just maintaining legacy systems)
Deep knowledge of EU and U.S. pay transparency, equity, and compliance regulations
Strong command of compensation analytics, benchmarking platforms, and HRIS tools
Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery capability
NICE-TO-HAVE
Experience in mid-sized (200–1000 employees) international organisations
Familiarity with modern HR tech and reward systems
Relevant certifications (e.g. CCP, GRP, CEBS)
