Our products are already known for their clean and intuitive design – but we're ready to take things to the next level. We're now looking for a
Head of Product Design
to lead the next phase of Quartr's design evolution across our mobile and desktop platforms.

You'll be hands-on from day one, designing for both platforms – elevating our already strong UI/UX foundation while establishing a clear future design direction. You'll have the main ownership of product design at Quartr, and over time, you'll build and lead a small design team. You'll collaborate closely with all departments across the company to ensure that every pixel, flow, and feature reflects our commitment to quality and clarity. You'll report directly to the CEO/CPO.

Our design philosophy
In the finance industry, user interfaces are often cluttered and non-intuitive; product experiences are often outdated and overly complex. We have therefore approached product development differently, focusing on making powerful functionality look beautiful and work seamlessly, instead of relying on legacy UI/UX structures.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Quartr's product design across desktop and mobile.
• Collaborate with our Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to align on design direction and execution.
• Design intuitive, beautiful, and high-impact user experiences that solve complex problems for our users.
• As we grow, you will build, mentor, and manage a small design team.
• Set a high standard for design quality, taste, and usability across our product suite, while aligning it closely with our brand.
• Encourage the use of AI and new design tools to accelerate iteration and experimentation.
• Contribute to a strong cross-functional culture of collaboration, creativity, and ownership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional design experience, ideally in B2B.
• Proven hands-on design talent across mobile and web platforms.
• Experience leading or managing design teams (minimum two designers).
• Deep understanding of UX, UI, and design systems.
• Experience of cross-team collaboration.
• Highly proficient in established design and prototyping tools (such as Figma) and up-to-date on newer AI-based design tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating great taste, craftsmanship, and systems thinking.
