At Qasa, we're transforming the rental experience across the Nordics, and we believe that starts with building an exceptional workplace. We're now looking for a Head of People to lead our HR function during this exciting phase of growth.

In this role, you'll lead our people strategy across Sweden, Finland, and Norway — shaping everything from organizational design and employee experience to performance culture and compliance. You'll work closely with our leadership team and report directly to the CEO, playing a key role in driving Qasa's growth through our people.

While you'll set the strategic direction, this is very much a hands-on role. You'll be responsible for building the HR function from the ground up — and just as ready to roll up your sleeves to support day-to-day operations, from onboarding and payroll to employee relations and policy implementation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in both strategic and operational HR work.

What You'll Do
People Strategy & Structure

• Develop and execute our people strategy aligned with Qasa's values, mission, and growth goals.
• Build and continuously improve scalable HR structures, systems, and policies across our Nordic operations.

Talent & Employee Experience

• Oversee the full employee lifecycle — from attraction, recruitment and onboarding to growth, retention, and offboarding.
• Design and implement career development programs, growth frameworks, and learning opportunities.

Performance & Culture

• Build and run performance management processes that drive clarity, accountability, and continuous feedback.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture rooted in trust, transparency, and shared purpose.
• Together with the management team, take active responsibility for nurturing and evolving Qasa's strong company culture — ensuring it scales with the organization while staying true to our values.

Compensation, Payroll & Benefits

• Own compensation strategy and lead the annual salary review process.
• Be the go-to expert on payroll, parental leave, pensions, and insurance — in close collaboration with Finance and external vendors.

Engagement & Wellbeing

• Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, inclusion, and overall well-being, helping to make Qasa a place where people feel motivated, supported, and inspired to do great work.
• Act as a trusted advisor in employee relations, managing sensitive issues with professionalism and empathy.

Leadership & Partnership

• Partner with Qasa's leadership and people managers as a strategic HR advisor and business partner.
• Support the Qasa managers in their development as leaders.
• Lead and grow the People function, including managing the Office Manager.

Compliance & Operations

• Ensure full compliance with labor laws and HR best practices across markets.
• Continuously improve internal processes to enhance HR efficiency and employee experience.

About You

• 5+ years in a senior HR role, preferably in a scale-up or fast-paced environment.
• Strong grasp of HR strategy, employment law, compensation, and performance management.
• Hands-on and proactive, with the ability to balance long-term thinking and day-to-day execution.
• Excellent communicator with a natural ability to build trust across all levels.
• Fluent in both Swedish and English (written and spoken).
• Experience working across multiple Nordic countries is a plus, especially with payroll and benefits.
