Head of Finance

To ensure continuous growth and become a leader in the European consumer billing market we are now looking for a highly skilled Head of Finance to join our team.

As Head of Finance at Billogram, you won't just be managing numbers, you'll be at the heart of our continued growth. This is a broad and impactful role where you will both be hands-on and act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, with the mandate to shape and grow the finance function as Billogram scales in Sweden and across Europe. You'll work with accounting and financial reporting, but your primary focus will be on acting as a hands-on business partner to the entire organization, providing data-driven insights that directly impact both revenue and costs.

• Financial Planning & Controlling: You will lead our budgeting and forecasting efforts. By acting as a proactive partner, you will deliver valuable insights and analysis to all parts of the organization, with the goal of optimizing profitability and steering the business in the right direction.
• Accounting and financial reporting: You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of our ongoing accounting and all financial reports, including monthly and annual closings.
• Process optimization and automation: We work with modern tools like Fortnox, GCP/BigQuery, and Looker Studio, and you will be expected to continuously drive automation and efficiency in how we handle financial data and reporting.
• Leadership and development: You will lead and mentor the existing finance team and play a key role in growing the function over time, shaping the way we work and ensuring finance is a true partner to the business.
• Cash Flow Management & Financial Oversight: You will be responsible for overseeing the company's cash flow and liquidity. While not a primary focus, you will also contribute with financial expertise in potential M&A activities, as we continue to scale.

• Financial Expertise: You have a solid understanding of both accounting and controlling. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and troubleshoot issues to find discrepancies in the ongoing accounting. While specialized expertise in complex standards is not a prerequisite, a strong grasp of generally accepted accounting principles is a must.
• Strategic Analysis: You have a deep understanding of FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Process & Automation Focus: You have a proven track record of driving process improvements and automating workflows. You are interested in tech and automation, with a desire to streamline financial processes.
• Leadership Experience: You have strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead projects or act as a team lead.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent is a requirement.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Industry Experience: Experience from a fast-growing environment, such as a SaaS, FinTech, or payments, is a plus.
