diligent and resourceful Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to lead our next growth chapter, transforming a high-performing fintech into a billion-dollar business.
About The Position
We're strengthening our leadership team with a CFO who thrives in dynamic, fast-scaling environments. As Kreditz CFO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, structure, and performance. You'll work closely with the CEO, management team and board to drive profitability, efficiency, and long-term value creation.

This is not a "spreadsheet-only" CFO role, it's a chance to be deeply operational while setting the strategic direction for a fast-growing fintech. You'll have the mandate to influence, challenge, and build, all while keeping your hands close to the business.

Responsibilities
Some of the main responsibilities you will cover:

• Lead and evolve Kreditz financial strategy to enable sustainable, scalable growth
• Build world-class budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting frameworks to assist CEO with informed decision-making and efficient resource allocation
• Provide actionable insights to the CEO, management team, board, and investors
• Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks, implement robust internal controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Drive an efficient revenue and cost management framework, ensuring precision in invoicing and disciplined financial control
• Manage cash flow, capital structure, and banking relationships to ensure efficient working capital management
• Support strategic M&A opportunities, from due diligence to integration
• Co-lead fundraising and investor relations with the CEO
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and follow up on strategic initiatives and OKRs
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements
• Work closely with external accounting team and evaluate improvements in current setup
• Continuously improve and optimize financial processes, tools, and partnerships

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We Believe That You Have

• Proven experience (min. 3-5 years) as a CFO in a fast-paced SaaS/tech-driven environment, preferably in the fintech sector
• Relevant academic background/certification (Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar)
• Strong financial acumen with a track record of successfully managing financial strategy, performance and operations (from growth companies)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Experience with fundraising and M&A, from strategy to integration
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, in English and Swedish (verbal and written).
• Previous experience from startup organization going scale-up is meritorious
• Previous experience from Open Banking/PSD2 is meritorious
