We are hiring Tech Lead – Androidfor the position based in Stockholm, Sweden (Hybrid).

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead – Android .This role is ideal for a seasoned Android Developer with proven leadership experience and deep technical expertise in Kotlin and modern Android frameworks. You will play a pivotal role in refactoring a large, legacy codebase into a scalable, maintainable, and high-performing architecture, guiding both the strategy and hands-on implementation.

Required Experience/Competences:

  • 10+ years of hands-on Android development experience, including Tech Lead or senior leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in Kotlin and modern Android architecture patterns (Clean Architecture, MVVM, modularization).
  • Proficient with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and the latest Android SDKs.
  • Strong understanding of app performance, memory management, and concurrency.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows (Gradle, GitHub Actions, Codemagic, Firebase App Distribution).
  • Familiarity with testing and automation frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, MockK).
  • Exposure to Firebase, Maps/Location APIs, and multi-module project setups.
  • Experience modernizing large-scale, production Android apps.

  • Excellent leadership and mentorship abilities, capable of guiding technical teams effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align product and engineering goals.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, balancing long-term architecture vision with delivery timelines.
