TECHNE are representing a fast-growing Scandinavian developer specialising in large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) - delivering some of Europe's most advanced grid-scale projects.

They develop, acquire, and operate energy storage assets across Scandinavia and Central Europe, including several projects exceeding 100 MW.

The Opportunity

As
Project Engineer,
you'll play a key role in delivering high-impact energy infrastructure projects, supporting design, procurement, scheduling, and documentation, while working closely with the Project Manager throughout all phases of project delivery.

This is a hands-on, varied role offering exposure across the full project lifecycle - from concept and design through to construction and commissioning.

You'll be joining a well-funded, high-growth developer with a startup mindset: agile, collaborative, and free from corporate bureaucracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control for live projects.
  • Contribute technical input to electrical and systems design during project development and delivery.
  • Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and consultants to maintain progress and quality.
  • Manage technical documentation, drawings, and commissioning activities.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings covering electrical, control, and monitoring systems.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience with high or medium-voltage systems, ideally within battery storage, renewables, or grid infrastructure.
  • Hands-on background in system engineering, electrical design, or commissioning.
  • Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
