Senior Consultant – Record to Report Workstream Lead

As a Senior Consultant specialising in Record to Report (R2R) workstream on NetSuite implementations, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, configuration, and deployment of R2R processes. You will work closely with clients and project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective consolidation, and smooth system integration. This role requires strong technical and functional expertise in NetSuite and consolidation processes, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of R2R processes within NetSuite, including general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliations, and period end activities.
• Participate in financial consolidation setup and execution, ensuring accurate elimination entries and group reporting.
• Assist in the configuration and customisation of NetSuite modules to meet client-specific R2R requirements.
• Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and documentation of R2R workflows.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues.
• Assist in data migration, system testing (including User Acceptance Testing), and validation activities.
• Provide training and support to finance teams on new processes and system functionalities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) and internal controls.
• Contribute to project status reporting and risk identification.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP implementations, specifically in R2R modules.
• Knowledge of financial consolidation processes and tools.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
• Years of experience: 3-5 years
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably Swedish as well
