What you will do

As a Senior Consultant in Klarna's Internal Audit team, reporting to the Group Head of Internal Audit (GHIA), you will deliver assurance across financial, operational, and compliance processes. You will lead audit programs, execute audit assignments, and collaborate with Control Functions and first-line teams to support strong governance and risk management.


• Plan, execute, and report on audits across multiple entities focusing on risk areas and critical processes.


• Identify and challenge key issues impacting business operations and drive remedial actions.


• Prepare clear and insightful audit insights for management.


• Build strong communication and relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

Who you are


• Experience delivering internal audit or assurance in regulated financial services, banking, or fintech (Big 4 preferred).


• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.


• Proven capability in audit execution and analysis.


• Confident communicator able to explain Internal Audit's value clearly.


• Business partner mindset with ability to challenge norms constructively.


• Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable with high independence.


• Professional, conscientious, and improvement-oriented.


• Enjoys complexity and collaboration across functions.
