Assignment Description

We are looking for an Operational Test Lead for a Transformation Program within the B2B area.

The program is structured as a matrix organization, with cross-functional workstreams that provide transformation expertise and support the program initiatives. These workstreams ensure a consistent delivery process and a unified common platform across the entire program.

The program follows a hybrid development model that combines elements of agile principles and methods with established program planning, governance, and structure.

Within the Quality Assurance workstream, the program aims to strengthen its test leadership and overall testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Test Planning: Develop test plans and schedules for testing activities.

  • Test Design: Identify test cases based on requirements and use cases.

  • Test Execution: Perform manual testing and support other testers.

  • Defect Management: Report, follow up, and prioritize defects, both internally and with external vendors and 3rd parties.

  • Coordination: Lead and coordinate test resources, both internal and external.

  • Communication: Report test status, risks, and quality assessments to the overall test lead and other stakeholders.

  • Tool Management: Work with test tools for documentation, tracking, and automation.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that testing activities comply with established processes and standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience of test management in IT projects.

  • Good understanding of testing methodology (e.g., ISTQB).

  • Practical experience with manual testing and understanding of test automation.

  • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into test cases.

  • Experience with testing tools such as Jira, XRay, Postman, or similar.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work in a structured and independent manner.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English (both speaking and writing).
