Assignment description:

For our client we are looking for an
ADAS Performance Test Engineer. Duration of contract is 5 months + chance of extensions.

Description of the assignment:

  • In our client's Intelligent Drive department their main goal is to launch their ADAS functionality to the European market.
  • They are looking for an ADAS performance test engineer, who will validate the complete ADAS
  • system and make sure the functions and interactions between functions are what is expected by their European customers.
  • You will drive our vehicle and test their ADAS functions both on test track and on public roads in Sweden and rest of Europe.
  • This role involves regular travel and expeditions inside Europe, preferably they are looking for candidates who can travel with short notice.

As ADAS Performance Test Engineer this is what you will do most of the time:

  • Verification and validation of ADAS functions in vehicles on European markets
  • Set up unique EU release standard and execute verification
  • Together with validation engineers verify function requirements and performance
  • Validate your functions to ensure that they meet the expectations of the European customer
  • Understand EU markets and customer needs and propose changes based on current ADAS functionality status and issues.
  • Support and execute ADAS verification according to test cases, both on test track and public roads and analyze results.

Qualifications and skills required for the role:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience within ADAS including vehicle testing on European market
  • Swedish driver license is a must
  • Good knowledge of ADAS behavior in complete vehicle
  • Experience of working closer to customers/media to understand feedback and expectations
  • Competence and experience should be from the last 3-5 years, due to fast technology development and new development from other OEMs and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Canalyzer, Canoe and Systemweaver
