Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Test Engineer within water tightness to strengthen our team in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The role

Sealing & Tightness has a global team that perform virtual and physical verification and validation in Sweden and China. The team is responsible for complete car testing of water tightness. With a target to secure that the future car is completely watertight where its intended.

Responsibilities

-Be responsible for the verification

-Lead development of new test riggs and test processes

-Reporting of status and progress in VIRA/JIRA and weekly meetings

-Ensure the work is delivered as per specified acceptance criteria and definition

-Defining future requirements for validation of the requirements. Which means that the work content varies from benchmark, requirements, virtual calculation, and testing.

Experience and background

  • Technical university degree (or equivalent knowledge from practical experience).

  • Experience from leading technical tasks.

  • Practical, problem solver able to find solutions for different test cases

  • Experience from engineering and testing in a Vehicle Program.

  • Experience from test documentations and test reports

  • Knowledge of requirements, target setting and development of new test methods

  • Good understanding of the products, our own and our competitors.

  • Tools: Team Center, System Weaver, CAR weaver, Lab95, VIRA.

Preferable qualifications

  • Experience of water management or similar

  • CAD knowledge

  • Experience of power operated tailgate systems

  • Complete car knowledge

  • Good analytical ability

  • English in speech and writing

  • Driving license B
