Key Account Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to spearhead our growth in the Swedish nicotine pouch market. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with our most important retail and distribution partners. Your primary mission will be to drive sales, maximize brand visibility, and solidify our position as a leader in this fast-evolving category.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management:
Develop and execute joint business plans with key national and regional accounts (e.g., major convenience stores, grocery chains, gas stations, and specialty tobacconists). - Sales Growth & Target Achievement:
Drive sell-in and sell-out, exceeding sales and distribution targets for your portfolio of accounts. - Category Expertise:
Act as the category expert for our clients, providing data-driven insights on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to optimize assortment, placement, and promotion. - Negotiation & Relationship Building:
Negotiate contracts, terms, and promotional activities that deliver value for both our company and our partners. - In-Store Excellence:
Work closely with field marketing and merchandising teams to ensure perfect execution of our brand in-store, including planogram compliance, POS placement, and promotional activation. - Market Intelligence:
Serve as the "eyes and ears" of the company in the field, providing regular feedback on market dynamics and competitor strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role, ideally within the FMCG, CPG, or tobacco/Nicotine Pouch industry.
- A strong existing network of contacts within Swedish retail (e.g., ICA, Coop, Axfood, Pressbyrån, Circle K, independent tobacconists) is highly advantageous.
- Deep understanding of the Swedish nicotine pouch market, including key players, consumer preferences, and regulatory landscape.
- A commercially astute negotiator with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
