The primary objective of this position is to ensure efficient ticket resolution, escalation, and communication:

  • Managing and resolving incident and request tickets
  • Escalating issues to the relevant service teams
  • Providing updates on ticket status
  • Acting as the first point of contact in Slack IT help channels

You will report to the Associate Manager of IT Support, delivering exceptional technical and customer service to the employees of King. With a strong technical background, you excel in environments where Windows and Mac OSX operate seamlessly together. Your experience in a rapidly growing company within the IT Support domain equips you to take ownership of the IT Service Desk. This role emphasizes user support through the Service Desk and in-channel assistance, while also requiring hands-on desktop support tasks to enhance team resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and resolve incidents and critical incidents promptly to minimize SLA breaches on a global scale (ServiceNow).
  • Assist on-site teams with prioritizing incident and request tickets after thorough assessment.
  • Provide end-user support for applications and systems, including Microsoft Office 365, Slack, Adobe CC Suite, VPN, and video conferencing tools.
  • Manage account lifecycle from onboarding new hires to deactivating accounts using scripts, Active Directory, Exchange Management Console, Google Workspace, or Office 365 Admin Portal.
  • Utilize IT support tools such as antivirus, imaging tools, MDM solutions, disk encryption, and spam management.
  • Be knowledgeable about iOS and Android mobile devices.
  • Proactively create and update documentation using a Wiki.
  • Mentor users and provide both team and end-user training as necessary.
  • Conduct software installations using remote desktop tools and/or computer agents.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of best practices for Windows system support, including account, email, and group management.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in hardware installation and troubleshooting for PCs and Macs.
  • Customer-focused team player with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and make informed decisions with limited information.
  • Skilled in translating user expectations into technical solutions.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and email systems (Exchange/Office 365).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Awareness of IT security standards and principles.
  • ITIL/PRINCE2 experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of internal networks (routing, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
