We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Lead to join our team at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. As a DevOps Lead, you will play a key role in leading the development and implementation of our technical infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities- Led the development and implementation of advanced CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring and automation of IT systems using Azure DevOps and related Azure services.
- Responsible for managing high-level architecture decisions and policy settings, requiring in-depth technical expertise and strategic ability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for adoption and implementation.
- Several years of documented experience as a DevOps engineer or similar roles, with a strong focus on cloud platforms.
- Prior experience of leading teams and projects.
- Experience of working with infrastructure as code and handling advanced CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines and Azure Bicep.
- Documented experience of Azure DevOps Services.
- Deep understanding of the Azure platform and its various services, including virtual machines, cloud storage, virtual networks, Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps (ACA), Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Azure KeyVault, and API Management.
- Strong skills in automation and scripting with tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
- Architecture knowledge to handle high-level design decisions and policy settings.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English is a must, and good knowledge of Swedish is highly desirable for effective collaboration within the team and with colleagues within and outside the IT department.
- Higher education or professional education in IT, IT security, DevOps, or similar.
- Current and relevant certification, e.g., Azure Solution Architect Expert (AZ-305) and/or Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
