About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral researcher to join our team at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. The successful candidate will be part of a research project focused on electricity market optimization with non-convexities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on electricity market optimization with non-convexities, including the development of new algorithms and models.
  • Collaborate with our team of researchers to advance our understanding of electricity market optimization and its applications.
  • Teach and supervise PhD students in the field of electricity market optimization.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and strategies to address the challenges of non-convexities in electricity market optimization.
Requirements
  • PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Economics, Operations Research, or Applied Mathematics.
  • Excellent knowledge of non-convex optimization theory, discrete optimization theory, stochastic processes, mathematical decomposition techniques, and electricity-market principles.
  • Strong computer programming skills, including experience with Julia, Python, MATLAB, or GAMS programming languages.
  • Excellent English-language skills, proven by international English exams such as IELTS or TOEFL.
