We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research group focused on developing and applying nonconvex optimization techniques for electricity markets.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in nonconvex optimization theory and its applications to electricity markets
- Develop and implement new optimization algorithms for solving complex problems in electricity markets
- Collaborate with researchers and industry partners to identify and address key challenges in electricity markets
- Teach and supervise PhD students in the field of optimization and electricity markets
- PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong background in optimization theory, particularly nonconvex optimization
- Excellent programming skills in languages such as Julia, Python, or MATLAB
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Postdoctoral research experience in optimization or a related field
- Publication record in top-tier conferences and journals in optimization and electricity markets
- Experience with industry partnerships and collaborative research projects
