At C.C.D. Cogent Communications Deutschland GmbH, we are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Account Strategist to join our team.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities within national and regional sales territories. You will work directly with the nation's leading IT decision-makers on current and future connectivity solutions, utilizing consultative and relationship-building selling techniques to position Cogent's services for new business.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities through direct calling, email, and contact efforts
  • Work closely with IT decision-makers to understand their current and future needs
  • Position Cogent's services as the best solution for new business opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in direct hunting, B2B sales role with quota achievement
  • Ability to identify, qualify, and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research
  • 4-8+ years of solid, B2B sales experience in a telecom arena with collocation and wholesale experience

A qualified candidate will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment with revenue deadlines. A track record of success and recent experience is required. Professional knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and CRM systems is a plus.

We offer a generous base salary, structured tenure pay increases, and an uncapped commissions plan that provides unlimited earnings potential. A full benefits package takes effect within 30 days of employment, and stock options are also included.
