About the Role

Tink is seeking an experienced leader to fill the position of Area Director & Engineering Manager. As a key member of our Engineering Foundations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and product managers, with a focus on delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic direction and roadmap for the area, in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the overall delivery and quality of products built by the team, with a focus on operational excellence and high uptime.
  • Participate in the tech area leadership team, leading and assisting initiatives to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including product, engineering, and commercial teams.
  • Set clear priorities and provide leadership in a fast-paced and innovative environment, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Foster a culture of open-mindedness and continuous improvement, with a focus on employee growth and development.
  • Engage teams and ensure everyone is working towards the same goal, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Champion operational excellence and grow the members of your organization, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
  • Mentor, grow, and coach direct reports to a state of constant learning and improvement.
  • Be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, with a focus on finding top talent and ensuring a smooth transition into the team.

    Requirements

    • Experience working with products that require operational excellence and high uptime, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Fluency in English.
