At Sharkmob, we're seeking a seasoned Department Manager to lead our Engineering teams. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for fostering leadership talent, developing team capabilities, and advancing our working methods.

  1. Develop and execute strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the Engineering discipline.
  2. Identify and grow leaders within development teams, providing them with training, mentorship, and coaching for success.
  3. Implement employee processes effectively, collaborating with HR on new ideas and improvements to these processes.
  4. Develop and implement world-class software development practices and processes, embedding them effectively across the organization.
  5. Drive knowledge sharing within the department and across the company.
  6. Drive continuous improvement across tools, workflows, and collaboration processes to enhance efficiency and innovation within the Engineering disciplines.

  1. Proven experience in leading Leads/Managers.
  2. Experience in software development processes.
  3. Experience in organizational development, mid to large size in a fast-growing company.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
  5. Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, processes, and initiatives.
  6. Experience in the video game industry or similar tech-heavy environments is a plus.
