This is an exciting opportunity to join Nordea Bank as a Strategic Portfolio Transformation Manager in our Change & Delivery Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping and delivering our technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will design and implement coherent frameworks for delivering our change agenda, focusing on Lean and agile practices, building highly effective Solution and Agile Trains.
  • You will support in building solution delivery at scale, facilitating cooperation between Agile Release Trains, traditional projects, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders, including underpinning execution structures with strong customer focus.
  • You will lead large-scale transformation and steer change management activities.
  • You will build and run the capability and tools that will enable your colleagues in our delivery units to select, prioritise, optimise and govern multiple projects and initiatives across the organisation, connected to agreed ways of working and demonstrating clear value back to business.
  • You will guide how Agile Release Trains shall work together with an aligned mission to build some of the world's largest and most critical systems.
  • You will facilitate portfolio-level prioritization and planning events and ceremonies, driving agile execution of strategies and managing Portfolio Backlog.
  • You will partner with senior executives to provide support and guidance, in particular, help translate portfolio objectives and KPIs into actionable initiatives.

About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret a wide range of information to form recommendations. You should be self-driven and a strong communicator who can also produce superior presentations and communication material for executive audiences.

You should have deep interest in technology, particularly within IT Infrastructure. You should be a true team player with great stakeholder management and interpersonal skills and solid organisational savviness enabling you to interact and navigate effectively at all levels and across different business areas to bridge diverse perspectives and formulate an opinion.

You should have good experience in successfully delivering across a complex, matrix environment with multiple stakeholders. Proven delivery track record, as Solution Train Engineer and Programme Delivery Manager leading highly complex initiatives within technology to reach organisational & strategic goals. Experience in facilitating Portfolio level prioritization, planning and follow-up across different delivery methodologies – Agile, Waterfall, hybrid, etc. Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience, preferably in financial services industry.

Your Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in implementing large-scale transformations and steering change management activities.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience, preferably in financial services industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret a wide range of information to form recommendations.
  • Self-driven and strong communicator with ability to produce superior presentations and communication material for executive audiences.

What We Offer

Nordea Bank offers a competitive salary of approximately €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, pension plan and generous annual leave.
