About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team at TUI. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for conducting country security risk assessments, owning the destination level risk matrix, and working closely with our business units to monitor and evaluate security-related data.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security risk assessments of existing and potential destinations to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain the destination level risk matrix for Hotels, Excursions, Activities, and Transfers, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Work closely with our business units to monitor and evaluate security-related data, providing expert analysis and recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Monitor global security-related events and analyze security threats and incidents, providing timely and accurate information to our stakeholders.
- Actively influence the development of industry standards for Excursions, Activities, and Transport in destination, ensuring that our operations are aligned with best practices.
- Develop and implement the Security Management System in relation to Risk Assessment, Travel Advice, Excursions, Activities, and Transport, ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are in place.
- Develop and deliver training programs as needed in destination for TUI MM colleagues, DMC colleagues, and Shore-ex colleagues, ensuring that all staff are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage security risks.
- Act as the Group security SPOC for TUI MM 3rd party relationships, providing expert advice and guidance on security matters, including crisis situations and 3rd party clients.
- Refine the company's regional geopolitical risk perspective and provide analysis of global security incidents, working closely with our SOM Intelligence team.
- Maintain an awareness of geopolitical and risk trends affecting the tourism sector, providing expert analysis and recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Communicate relevant strategic analysis and forecasting to key stakeholders, ensuring that all relevant information is shared in a timely and accurate manner.
- Interact with a wide range of stakeholders, including law enforcement and intelligence agencies, embassies, source markets, and destinations, providing expert advice and guidance on security matters.
- Advise stakeholders of all levels on relationship management with home governments and agencies, ensuring that all relevant information is shared in a timely and accurate manner.
- Demonstrate a proven body of work regarding security and geopolitical issues, providing expert analysis and recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Work closely with our business travel security lead and Global mobility team to ensure that all relevant information is shared in a timely and accurate manner.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager who has a proven track record in hotel audit management and security management. You will have a strong understanding of geopolitics and the ability to analyze security threats and incidents. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
