About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Engineer to join our team at S&P Global, Inc. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for managing security operations, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls, policies, and procedures to protect our systems and data.
  • Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports, vulnerability assessments, and incident response plans to ensure the security and integrity of our infrastructure.
  • Work closely with our IT staff to ensure the security and compliance of our systems, networks, and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to ensure our security posture remains strong.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in security operations, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
  • Proficiency in security tools, including SIEM, endpoint protection, and log correlation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, are a plus.
