About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Lead Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading hardware-related activities and projects within the area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hardware-related activities and projects, including planning and execution of hardware projects, writing technical documentation, and providing on-site installation support and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customers, projects, suppliers, and the product organization, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including hardware design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in electronics or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial/automotive electronics (HW) design, with a strong background in hardware project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Fluent English and Swedish language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
