About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Global Marketing sub-categories, analyzing procurement markets, and identifying cost reduction projects. They will also negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, manage supplier relationships, and develop innovative negotiation methods.

This role requires strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and empower stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in indirect material procurement with marketing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Global Marketing sub-categories such as Media, Content creation, Market insights, with contract negotiations.
  • Analyze procurement markets, benchmarking best practices, and considering total cost of ownership.
  • Identify cost reduction projects with stakeholders through detailed spend analysis.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to create value for stakeholders and ensure compliance with company and industry-specific requirements.
  • Project management, including strategic planning and implementation of tenders.
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, KPIs, and feedback sessions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and Indirect Materials community to identify opportunities for performance improvement and cost savings.
  • Develop innovative negotiation methods and advise on purchasing processes and market dynamics.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive functional and operational experience in indirect material procurement with marketing services.
  2. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage strategic supplier relationships, including relationship building, performance development, and integration.
  3. Good knowledge regarding business models, supply markets, and supply/value chains within relevant categories.
  4. Experience managing the end-to-end sourcing process (demand management, tender, analysis, contract, implementation, supplier relationship management).
  5. Strong ability to manage stakeholders: understanding their priorities and challenges.
  6. Well-organized and analytical with attention to details and accuracy.
  7. Ability to manage projects from idea to execution.
  8. Strong communication and influencing skills, ability to engage and empower your audience.
  9. Continuous improvement mindset, challenging assumptions and suggesting better approaches.
  10. Fluency in English (any other language is an asset).
  11. Good knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
