Job Summary

NSI Mobile Water Solutions, part of Saur EUROPE, is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Sweden. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers can use our mobile water treatment equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation: Set up and install equipment at customer locations, ensuring correct and safe operation.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment remains in good working condition during rental periods.
  • Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair equipment if it breaks down or experiences technical issues during rental periods.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding equipment use and maintenance, interacting with customers to understand their needs and address any issues or concerns.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including service reports, parts replacements, and work performed, creating and maintaining technical documentation to support operational activities.
  • Equipment Verification: Oversee and participate in factory acceptance testing procedures to verify equipment performance and compliance.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards, addressing any compliance issues and creating and maintaining 5S strategies at the depot to ensure organizational efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Training: Offer training to customers or rental staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory of rental equipment, order spare parts when needed, and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize downtime for customers.
  • Reporting: Provide feedback to rental companies about equipment performance and condition, suggesting improvements or replacements.
  • Rental Management Software: Implement and coordinate rental management software to streamline operational processes and enhance customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Vocational Diploma in Engineering or equivalent electrical work experience
  • Proven work experience as Field Service Engineer in the water industry or a similar role
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment
  • A good level of English and Swedish language to communicate effectively and clearly with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Knowledge of Google Application Suite and/or Microsoft Office software packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and diagnostic tools used in equipment servicing
  • Capability to work across cultures, borders, and different methods of executing business within an international team
  • Physical Fitness - Ability to drive and work in various physically demanding environments
  • Possess a valid Driver's License to drive in the region
