About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PQ Service Sales Specialist to join our team at Eaton Corporation. As a PQ Service Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in selling life cycle services for Eaton Power Quality solutions to targeted customers in the UAE, Kuwait, and Qatar.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Customer Intelligence: Develop intelligence regarding Eaton's existing installed base, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits. Review and interpret customer needs based on life cycle assessment of the captured installed base within the specified region.
  2. Meet Sales Targets: Achieve annual service revenue goals. Provide accurate sales forecasting and customer relationship management data on revenue streams for the mapped installed base.
  3. Provide Technical Support: Analyze and provide advice for customers' existing equipment status and recommended replacement schedules. Communicate effectively with all external stakeholders including maintenance/engineering/facility managers on site.
  4. Support Service Providers: Provide support and guidance on service offering portfolio (specifically 1Phase & 3Phase UPS systems) to authorized service providers within the country.
  5. Develop Service Quotations: Develop timely and accurate service quotations with the help of centralized resources.
  6. Competitor Analysis: Understand competitor's offerings and articulate Eaton's competitive advantages for power upgrade & replacement scenarios. Schedule and conduct frequent face-to-face visits with customers across the assigned geography to educate them on the component life cycle aspects.
  7. Technical Support: Provide technical and administrative support for activities including installation, testing, commissioning, repair, modifications, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, engineering change upgrades, etc. through the current service provider infrastructure within the country.
  8. Service Contract Management: Manage specific service contracts as the single point of contact interfacing into customer organizations, while working to drive additional sales in those specific service contracts (including 24x7) and provide services quotes when required.
  9. Equipment Troubleshooting: Identify and isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective actions when necessary. Provide customers with basic application information via phone or on-site consultation and utilize the service provider network for 24-hour x 7 days a week on-call duty, responding to emergencies with minimal notification.
  10. Service Log Maintenance: Maintain service logs and reports of work performed, by self (where needed) or the service provider network.
  11. Professional Development: Continuously improve personal, technical, and professional business skills, enabling you to service products to customer satisfaction by keeping current with product technology, as measured by the ability to troubleshoot and repair various products and instruct others. Demonstrate safety consciousness in equipment handling, electrical and electronic procedures, and unique situations encountered at diverse work sites.
Requirements
  1. Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics from an accredited institution.
  2. Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in servicing & sales of UPS systems and services for critical facilities, computer rooms, or control systems. Prior work experience on Eaton UPS systems is a great advantage.
  3. Skills: Good understanding of single-phase and three-phase circuit theory; digital electronic circuit theory; and microprocessor controls and programming regarding UPS systems. Experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills both oral and written.
  5. Computer Skills: Strong computer skills and knowledge of electrical distribution and control systems is highly desirable; experience in UPS services is a must.
  6. Power Quality Measurements: Experience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, and analysis is highly desirable.
  7. Project Management: Experience in planning, managing site work, and coordinating small to medium projects for preventative maintenance and modernization.
  8. Network Functionality: Basic understanding of network functionality and sealed and battery storage theory and application.
  9. Safety Awareness: Understand the need for safety and comply with company and customer rules on safety.
  10. Self-Motivation: Must be self-motivated, with proven organizational and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize and balance workload while leveraging support personnel to meet customer and organizational needs.
  11. Customer Knowledge: Knowledge of key customers within sales territories.
  12. Driving License: Driving license is mandatory for this position.
