Device Lifecycle Management Professional

Axiom Technologies seeks a highly skilled professional to play a key role in the management of the organization's IT assets. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of the organization's devices, ensuring that global standards are consistently maintained and communicated.
This role involves close collaboration with various teams and stakeholders, with a focus on sustainability, automation, simplification, and commercial opportunities. Your expertise will be essential in defining and communicating hardware standards, as well as maintaining and updating the hardware catalogue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate global hardware standards.
- Own and maintain global hardware standards.
- Collaborate with the Hardware Lifecycle Manager to establish appropriate device standards.
- Align these standards with relevant stakeholder groups.
- Manage the devices catalogue, staying aware of market changes and planning for challenges and changes.
- Focus on sustainability, automation, simplification, and commercial opportunities.
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the business, manage pricing and contracts with OEMs, and handle OEM management.
- Plan, test, communicate, and manage stock changes, and update ServiceNow catalogue datasets accordingly.
- Optimize supply chain strategies, manage buffer stock, and other value-added reseller (VAR) services.
- Ensure service levels are met or exceeded, escalate issues, and assist with contract negotiations.
- Provide data analysis to support business requirements, act as an SME for global device ordering processes, and manage procurement challenges and drive process improvements.
- Develop a disposal dashboard to meet sustainability targets, and expand VAR offerings where possible.
