Head of Marketing for SEGA Titles
Marketing Location: Flexible within Europe Employment Type: PermanentRovio, a proud member of the SEGA family, is renowned for its iconic franchise, Angry Birds. We are on the lookout for a skilled and innovative Marketing Lead to take charge of the launch for an exciting new SEGA game. This role will involve crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy, ensuring a successful and integrated campaign across various platforms. You will collaborate with a talented growth marketing team dedicated to promoting SEGA titles.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement a Comprehensive Launch Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the team to design a tailored marketing plan for the upcoming SEGA mobile game, coinciding with its theatrical debut. Ensure all marketing initiatives are cohesive, brand-aligned, and effectively reach the target audience. Project Management: Oversee the complete execution of the marketing strategy, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any challenges that arise. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, User Acquisition, Community Engagement, Influencer Marketing, UX Research, Creative Production, and Public Relations, to ensure all efforts are synchronized. Licenser Coordination: Collaborate closely with SEGA's licensing teams to ensure all marketing materials and initiatives receive the necessary approvals and adhere to brand standards. Efficiently navigate and resolve any approval challenges. Collaboration and Communication: Serve as the primary liaison for all marketing-related activities, ensuring clear and effective communication among all stakeholders. Work with external partners and internal teams to foster a unified marketing strategy. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Together with key team members, track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular updates and actionable insights to senior management. Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to enhance campaign effectiveness.Required Experience and Skills:
Proven track record in leading successful marketing launches for video games, with a strong portfolio of past campaigns. Demonstrated project management capabilities, adept at managing complex, cross-functional projects to ensure timely completion. Experience working with licensors, ensuring all marketing activities are brand-compliant and approved on schedule. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly. A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry, particularly in mobile and social gaming.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with high-profile intellectual properties and global franchises. Familiarity with SEGA titles and their fanbase.
