About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Alstom's Nordics Technology Centre in Västerås, Sweden.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new and maintain existing electronic hardware designs for railway control systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative electronic products
  • Work on projects involving analogue and digital hardware design, FPGA firmware design, and VHDL programming
  • Support the organisation in problem-solving and contribute to the management of current firmware and electronics products
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Electronics or related field
  • Strong experience with analogue and digital hardware design, FPGA firmware design, and VHDL programming
  • Knowledge of railway and safety standards, such as EN50155 and EN 50657/50129
  • Experience working with industrial electronic hardware design for embedded systems
  • Fluent in English, with Swedish language skills desired
