We're looking for a talented Field Technical Engineer to join our Abbott Electrophysiology Division in Sweden.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and advice to our clients, attending implants, follow-ups, and supporting any issues related to high voltage and low voltage stimulation devices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing expert clinical consultation, teaching, and support on the use of all products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting.
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market.
  • Providing technical support to the EP salesforce.
  • Conducting product presentations and performing stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by EMEA or customers.

Desirable Qualifications

  • University degree within biomedical engineering or other related scientific field.
  • Electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge would be considered a strong asset.
  • Very good command of English and Swedish (both written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and customer-focus.
  • Willingness to travel 75% of the time and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
