Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Customer Planning Specialist to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our Customer Planning Group, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate business forecasts for specific customers in our Market organization.

Your primary goal will be to create and improve the business forecast, working closely with sales teams, customers, supply/operations, marketing, finance, and adjacent functions. This involves developing an aligned short-term demand plan by using or improving the baseline forecast and enriching it with relevant input.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop an aligned short-term demand plan by using or improving the baseline forecast and enriching it with relevant input from Sales, Customers, Supply/Operations, Marketing, Finance, and adjacent functions.
  2. Collect input for phase-in/out & promotions and use it in the enrichment process.
  3. Review and analyze historical sales trends, sell-out, stock-in-trade, research demand drivers, prepare forecast analytics, and evaluate forecast results.
  4. Lead conversation with relevant counterparts, propose forecast adjustments, and challenge assumptions underpinning input.
  5. Support all relevant functions in creating and communicating gap-closing scenarios.
  6. Support all relevant functions in preparing, planning, communicating, and revising forecasts for Sales Review Meeting. Adjust forecasts based on meeting outputs.
  7. Maintain the demand plan for respective Customer Planning Groups and ensure timely updates for meetings and business planning snapshots.
  8. Be the gatekeeper for potential activation/promotion agreements with customers and feasibility from a supply chain capability perspective.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher, and 2-5 years of work experience in Business or Supply Chain environment.
  2. Strong team player with proven analytical skills.
  3. Experience in demand planning downstream (retail).
  4. Experience with Excel is a must-have.
  5. Familiarity with ERP (SAP) would be an advantage.
  6. Fluency in English and Swedish.
  7. Strong attention to detail with commercial understanding.
