Solution Development Director

We are seeking a skilled Product Development/Innovation Manager to join our team and drive innovation in the public sector. As a member of our AI innovation team, you will play a key role in developing solutions that address the needs of our customers.
Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with our product managers to develop the product roadmap, prioritizing epics and user stories. You will also be responsible for coordinating the implementation, testing, and rollout of functionality with the development team and data scientists.
Main Responsibilities:
- Foster strong relationships with customers and markets to identify user requirements and address significant customer problems.
- Contribute to domain concept development, establishing our position as thought leaders in our sector.
- Develop concepts for new products and features.
- Ensure effective coordination with development, design, and data science teams.
- Support product managers in prioritizing development to establish a customer-value-driven roadmap.
- Collaborate with other product teams and services for internal maturity building and supporting sales and implementation projects.
- Participate in AI governance and ethics dialogues for new AI-driven capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
We seek candidates with a hands-on, solution-focused start-up mentality to drive responsible innovation for customers and the public. Strong customer orientation and business acumen, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work independently and proactively are essential.
A solid understanding and practical experience from working in public administration, either in local or central government or other public agencies, is necessary. Domain understanding from the public sector is also required.
Candidates should have an interest and practical work experience from either municipality or central government sector, innovation and product management, and experience with product management tasks and practices for gathering, describing, and organizing requirements towards development.
Ideal experience in innovation management and concept development is desired. A passion to continuously learn new things, aiming higher, and curiosity in new technologies and concepts, like AI and analytics, is essential.
Good Nordic and English language skills are required.
