The Role

This is a true entrepreneurship and leadership role in a very international setting. As CEO Scandinavia, you will work in a fast-developing environment, developing and implementing the strategy of InnoEnergy and executing the yearly Business Plan for Scandinavia and other business areas.

Responsibilities and Tasks
  1. Deliver the 3 letters in CEO: Chief/Leader, Executive/Doer, and Officer/Manager.
  2. Evolving the strategy of InnoEnergy, you will be a member of a 1B$+ market cap company.
  3. Elaborating the yearly Business Plans that implement the strategy in the coming year.
  4. Implementing and executing the company yearly business plan at Co-Location centre (CC) Scandinavia level.
  5. Delivering the objectives set in the yearly business plan.
  6. Creating, fostering, and animating the ecosystem in the CC and across CCs.
  7. Valorizing the outputs generated when implementing the business plan.
  8. Driving for excellent innovation in the constituencies contributing to the mission.
  9. Representing the company in all needed institutional local fora (EU, partners, Member State Public Bodies related to KIC InnoEnergy).
  10. Developing the required links with the key stakeholders related to the Energy sector in Scandinavia (industry, administration, investors, innovation community).
The Person

The candidate needs to have most of the competences and skills described below, in a high level:

  1. Proven experience as a business leader with minimum 15 years experience in (top) management executive business positions, managing interdisciplinary functions.
  2. Track record in innovation, creating and growing business.
  3. Proven experience in successful interaction with Scandinavian public authorities. With EU ones would be a plus.
  4. Sound understanding of the energy sector and its challenges.
  5. Sound understanding of customer orientation and market driven innovation.
  6. Proven track record of creativity in thinking beyond status quo.
  7. Be primarily result oriented and not knowledge or process oriented.
  8. Experience with multinational working environments.
  9. Experience and demonstrated ability to work in matrix organizations.
  10. Proficient in English, fluency in another European language is an asset.
  11. Comfortable in managing ecosystems with various stakeholders, from startups to industry, RTOs to universities and public actors.

The CEO of InnoEnergy Scandinavia will manage directly a team of 20+ people. In addition, regular interactions include:

  1. InnoEnergy CEO.
  2. Executive Board members.
  3. InnoEnergy's Thematic leaders.
  4. InnoEnergy sales team.

In InnoEnergy ecosystem:

  1. Key stakeholders in Scandinavia (industry, investors, public administration, innovation ecosystem players), preferably at rain maker level.
  2. Relevant executives and board members of InnoEnergy portfolio companies managed out of the geography.
Location and Travel

Location is Stockholm. This position involves frequent travel in Scandinavia and in Europe.
