Job Description

As a Contract Manager at Turner & Townsend, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Contract Duties: Prepare cost estimates, procure materials, and administer contracts to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough feasibility studies to identify potential risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Cost Planning: Develop and present cost plans to stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
  • Tendering and Procurement: Manage the tendering process, including pre-qualification, tender analysis, and contract negotiation.
  • Post-Contract Cost Management: Monitor and control post-contract costs, ensuring that variances are minimized and final accounts are accurate.
  • Client Interface: Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all contracts are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in construction, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical projects.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of construction methods and procurement processes.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Education: Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
