About the position

With an investment of € billion approved byour Board of Directors, Luleå is set to become our next site for fossil-freesteel production. The new Luleå mill will boast a capacity of million tonsper year, featuring state-of-the-art facilities including electric arcfurnaces, advanced secondary metallurgy, a direct strip rolling mill, and acold rolling complex. This transformation will support the mobility segmentwith premium products, driving our mission towards a sustainable future.

Main responsibilities

Setup, track andadministrate RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ) process in procurement tools. Contribute in on-board of contractors andsuppliers in accordance to SSAB’s onboarding processes and tools (supplierpre-qualification). Coordinate, draft and place purchase ordersin accordance with agreed contracts, schedules and payment milestones. Ensurepurchase orders are confirmed and fully understood by receiving parties, solveany. discrepancies. Project Collaboration: Work closely withProcurement Managers and Project Managers to ensure deadlines and project schedulesare met, contributing to procurement procedure updates and best practices. Assist, as needed, incontractor and supplier negotiations as agreed with Procurement Manager.

About You

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (,Construction, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management). 7+ years of experience in constructionpurchasing activities. Good understanding of processes forpurchasing capital equipment, bulk construction materials, contract workspackages such as installation is a benefit. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel andprocurement software. Process-oriented with solid time managementskills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaininghigh-quality work under minimal supervision.
